Drammen and Lier

  • Line 1 Mjøndalen – Drammen Hospital Brakerøya will take over from line 51 and becomes the new main line between Mjøndalen and Drammen Hospital at Brakerøya. The buses will run via Bragernes torg and Nedre Strandgate, and get a new stop at Bragernes strand. On weekdays there will be eight departures per hour. Four of the departures will go all the way to Mjøndalen, and four will have their final stop at Sørensvingen. The line will have a route along fv 283 Rosenkrantzgata and will serve Åssiden vgs, Farmen, and Vårveien.

On Saturdays, there will be four departures per hour to Sørensvingen and two to Mjøndalen. On Sundays, all departures go to Mjøndalen and run twice an hour.
  • Line 2 Gulskogen – Kastanjesletta takes over the bus service for Gulskogen (line 25) and Kastanjesletta (line 3). The new route will run via Hans Hansens vei, and unlike the previous routes, line 2 will also run on Sundays. This change will give residents of Kastanjesletta a faster trip to the city centre, while Gulskogen gets a new bus service on Sundays. The Solås and Myrehagen bus stops will be closed, and travellers who previously used these must now use the Steinbakken or Bera Nedre bus stops, which are served by line 4.
  • Line 3 Fjell – Bragernes torg will no longer have Kastanjesletta as its final stop, but will instead stop at Bragernes torg. The buses will still run every 10 minutes during rush hour, while the frequency will be reduced to every 15 minutes from Monday to Saturday outside rush hour. On weekday evenings, as well as on Saturday mornings and evenings and all day Sunday, the line will continue to have departures every 30 minutes, just as it does today.
  • Line 4 Kniveåsen – Bera will be extended to include Bera and will run via Bragernes torg and Liejordet. The Solås and Myrehagen stops will be closed, so travelers in that area will now have to use the Steinbakken (served by line 2) or Bera Nedre stops.
  • Line 5 Vinnes – Tors vei will once again run via Bragernes and Strømsø torg.
  • Line 14 Underlia – Tolerud will cross the river and run between Underlia and Tolerud.
  • Line 15 Austad – Strøtvet will cross the river and run between Austad and Strøtvet.
  • Line 16 Drammen – Mælen, 22 Drammen – Svingen/Andorsrud, 24 Drammen – Konnerud skole/Eikerdelet, 91 Drammen – Svelvik – Berger, 96 Sande – Drammen will run as before, but have their final stop at Bragernes torg.
  • Routes 35, 37, 56, 57 and 72 will have some adjustments to school departures. See upcoming tables here.
  • Line 52 Mjøndalen – Drammen will return to its old route pattern and will serve Ypsilon, Bragernes torg and Drammen bus station. In the direction of Mjøndalen, it will stop at Union næringspark.
  • Routes 61 Lierbyen – Drammen, 63 Sylling – Drammen and 73 Lierskogen – Drammen will be extended to Drammen bus station.
