Bus lines running to the new hospital
These Brakar lines will serve the new hospital at Brakerøya:
Line 1 Mjøndalen-Drammen hospital Brakerøya
This is the new main line to and from the hospital and is operated by articulated bus. Line 1 will run via Bragernes torg, so for travelers from elsewhere in the city, this will be the natural place to switch to from other lines.
Between Bragernes torg and the new hospital, the bus will run along Nedre Strandgate. The only stop on this route will be Bragernes strand, which will be located at the intersection of Nedre Strandgate/Søren Lemmichs gate.
Driving to the new hospital from October 6. See timetable.
Line 61 Lierbyen-Drammen
Line 61 will no longer run to Bera. It will now travel from Lierbyen, via the new hospital and Bragernes torg, to Drammen bus station. The new route, which includes the hospital, came into effect on 18 August. See timetable.
Line 63 Sylling-Drammen
Line 63 from Sylling to Lierbyen will be extended to run to Drammen bus station, and will stop at the new hospital and Bragernes square on the way. Start-up on October 6. See timetable.
Line 71 Asker-Drammen
In connection with extensive roadworks planned at Nøste, route 71 will be rerouted via Jensvollveien and Lierstranda during the work period (estimated at about 2.5 years). During the detour, route 71 will serve the new hospital. Since the detour will result in a longer travel time, route 71 will depart every 20 minutes instead of every 15 minutes as before. See timetable.
Line 73 Lierskogen-Drammen
Running via new hospital from August 18. See timetable.
Routes 251 and 261
