Extra Departures to Kongsberg Jazz Festival

This year’s Jazz Festival in Kongsberg takes place from 2 to 5 July. During the event, Brakar will operate extra departures to Lindbojordet, Lampeland, and Hvittingfoss.

Standard ticket fares apply, including on night services.

Extra Departures

Line 401 Lindbojordet-Gamlegrendåsen S (terminus is Rosteds vei)

  • 4 July: From Lindbojordet to Rosteds vei, hourly departures from 18:47 to 23:47.
  • 4 July: From Rosteds vei to Lindbojordet, hourly departures from 19:15 to 00:15.
  • 5 July: From Lindbojordet to Rosteds vei at 10:47, then hourly until 00:47.
  • 5 July: From Rosteds vei to Lindbojordet, hourly departures from 11:15 to 01:15.

Route 420 Kongsberg knutepunkt-Lampeland

  • 2 July: From Kongsberg to Lampeland at 00:30.
  • 3 July: From Kongsberg to Lampeland at 00:30.
  • 4 July: From Kongsberg to Lampeland at 00:30, 01:30 and 02:30.
  • 5 July: From Lampeland to Kongsberg at 13:55.
  • 5 July: From Kongsberg to Lampeland at 00:30, 01:30 and 02:30.

Route 430 Kongsberg knutepunkt-Hvittingfoss

  • 2 July: From Hvittingfoss to Kongsberg at 15:55.
  • 2 July: From Kongsberg to Hvittingfoss at 00:30.
  • 3 July: From Hvittingfoss to Kongsberg at 15:55.
  • 3 July: From Kongsberg to Hvittingfoss at 00:30.
  • 4 July: From Hvittingfoss to Kongsberg at 15:55.

Extended Brakar Fleks Hours

  • 2 and 3: 07:00-00:30
  • 4 July: 07:00-02:30
  • 5 July: 09:00-02:30

Trips must start or end within the inner zone.

Temporary Stop Closures

From 1 July at 07:00 to 6 July at 23:59, the following stops will not be served:

  • Tråkka. Affects all lines, including Brakar Fleks. The nearest serviced stop is Kongsberg knutepunkt.
  • Thornes vei. Affects lines 401, 420, 430 and Brakar Fleks. The nearest serviced stop for 401 and 420 is Friedland, and for 430 and Brakar Fleks it will be Bergmannsveien.
  • Kongsberg rådhus: Affects lines 403, 409 and Brakar Fleks. The nearest stop is Bergmannsveien.
