• If there are others traveling in the same direction as you, we will pick them up along the way.

If you need to travel to and from the same bus stop at fixed times every week, you can set up a serial booking. You will need to call us to make this type of booking. You will receive an SMS reminder before each pre-booked trip, and you can easily cancel if you're not going to travel.

The on-demand service was originally established following the cancellation of fixed routes in the "inner zone," which were discontinued due to low ridership.

When the service was launched, it was important for us to ensure that capacity is used where the need is greatest—in the "inner zone," where ordinary city lines do not operate. Therefore, on weekdays, your trip must either start or end in the inner zone. This prevents Brakar Fleks from running parallel to our regular bus services.

The bus stop "Skinnarberga helsehus" is located in the inner zone.

Please note that Kongsberg Knutepunkt is located in the outer zone for Brakar Fleks. On weekdays, your trip must either start or end in the inner zone. However, the stop "Baneveien ved Kongsberg stasjon," located on the other side of the underpass, is in the inner zone.

If you cannot find a travel option when searching to or from the Knutepunkt, we recommend checking "Baneveien" instead.

• First-time users must register their name and mobile number in the app.
• To book, start by tapping the field "Where to?". Enter your destination and your departure point (unless you want the app to automatically use your current location).
• The app will find the first available departure. If you wish to pre-book for a later time or a different day, tap the "Pre-book" button and select your desired time. You also select the number of passengers here. Under the "Accessibility" button, you can specify if you are traveling with a wheelchair or a stroller. Space on the bus is limited, so it is important to include this in your booking to guarantee a spot.
• Once you are satisfied with your choices, tap the blue button at the bottom: "Select Brakar Fleks". You will receive a confirmation of your pickup and arrival times. Tap "Book trip" to finalize the booking. You will then receive a confirmation via SMS. If the pickup time changes due to delays or other circumstances, you will receive a new SMS with the updated time.
• If you no longer wish to take the trip, please remember to cancel. Go to your profile in the app (tap the person icon in the top left corner) and select "Planned trips". Tap the trip you wish to cancel, and then tap "Cancel trip".

If no departure times appear (or if you see the message "Outside service hours"), it may be because there are no more available trips that day, or because the route you are searching for is not available.

From Monday to Friday, your trip must either start or end within the "inner zone."

No, unfortunately, that is not possible. You can buy tickets in the Brakar Billett, Vy, or Entur apps, or from the driver on the bus. You can also use a travel card or period pass, just like on other buses.
