Drammen, Lier, Svelvik and Eiker
Berger museum and Fossekleiva kultursenter: Art and cultural experiences. Routes 91, 93 and 98 to Berger gård.
Buskerud kunstsenter, Drammen: A regional art center for Buskerud county. Routes 52 to Union Næringspark. Or take the bus to Drammen bus station.
Drammen Museum: A museum of art and cultural history. Take the bus to Museumsparken or Strømsø torg.
Fossesholm herregård, Vestfossen: The main building is now a museum, showing the interiors from the farm's heyday in the 18th century. The rest of the estate offers changing exhibitions, a home front museum and a handicraft shop. Routes 115*, 119 and 133* to Fossesholm.
Gulskogen gård: A pleasure farm from the early 1800s in the Louis XVI style. Route 52 to Gulskogen farm.
Lier bygdetun: The museum consists of several historic buildings, all moved here from different places in Lier, as well as an orchard with around a hundred apple, pear, plum and cherry trees. Routes 61, 62, 66*, 71, 72 and 169 to Lier E-verk.
Portåsen, Mjøndalen: The childhood home of poet Herman Wildenvey. The nearest bus stop is Mjøndalen kirke (route 115*) or Mjøndalen skole (route 53). From there it's a nice walk of about half an hour (2.7 km).

Kongsberg
Lågdalsmuseet, Kongsberg: cultural history museum for Kongsberg, Sandsvær and Numedal. Routes 401, 406, 431 and Brakar Fleks to Sølvparken.
Labromuseene, Skollenborg: consists of the Norwegian Watercourse Museum, Numedalslågens Fløtingsmuseum and the Norwegian Road Museum Region South/Buskerud. Routes 403*, 412**, 430 and 436* to Labro.
Norwegian Mining Museum and Mint Exhibition, Kongsberg: A cultural and natural history museum. Route 431* or Brakar Fleks (preorder only) to Thornes vei.
Silver Mines: A former mining company started in 1623, one of the largest in Europe. Routes 409, 410 or Brakar Fleks (preorder only) to Saggrenda dam.
Ringerike
Veien Cultural Heritage Park, Hønefoss: one of Northern Europe's largest burial grounds from the early Iron Age. Routes 222, 241, 242*, 243* and 255* to Veien.
Ringerikes Museum: Located at Norderhov old vicarage, where you can learn about the farm and the local cultural history. Also houses the Hjemmestyrkemuseet and Buskerud Fylkesfotoarkiv. Routes 200 and 210* to Botilrud, or routes 211, 212* and 213 to Norderhov.
Hønefoss Accordion Museum: Is co-located with Ringerikes Museum. Routes 200 and 210 to Botilrud, or routes 211, 212* and 213* to Norderhov.
Kjerrat Museum: A cultural and natural history museum for Åsa. Route 212* to Åsa.
Sigdal and Krødsherad
Sigdal Museum: Gain insight into the cultural history of mid-county through 500 years, with an emphasis on Sigdal and Eggedal. Route 105 to Sigdal ungdomsskole.
Folkemusikksenteret i Buskerud: a competence center for folk music and folk dance. Route 105 to Sigdal ungdomsskole.
Theodor Kittelsen Lauvlia: Visit Theodor Kittelsen's artist home. Route 105 to Lauvlia Veggesrud.
The Cobalt Mines and the Kittelsen Museum at Blaafarveværket. Route 105 to Blaafarveværket.
Eggedal Mill. Here you can learn the history of hydropower and forestry in Buskerud. Route 105 to Ovan.
The fairy tale museum Villa Fridheim. Route 110 to Leir.
Krøderbanen: a museum railway that runs trains with steam locomotives and wooden carriages during the summer. Route 110 to Krøderen.
Hallingdal and Hemsedal
Hallingdal Museum, Nesbyen: a cultural history museum for Hallingdal. Routes 310 and 330 to Nesbyen.
Ål Bygdamuseum: Built around a listed farmhouse from the 1600s. Route 339* to Bygdemuseum, or routes 330, 332*, 336*, 338*, 339* and 343* to Ål idrettshall.
Gol Rural Museum: One of the oldest farms in Gol, with a halling house, storehouse, barn, sauna, farmhouse, stream mill and an old country school. Route 320* to Hallingdal Folkehøgskule or routes 360 and 361* to Vonheim.
Hemsedal Bygdatun: an open-air museum from around 1730. Route 362* to Hallbjørhus or routes 360 and 362* to Ulsåk.
Hol Bygdemuseum: A mountain farm where you can experience the old farming community as it looked in the 17-1800s. Routes 330 or 332* to Hagafoss.
Dokken Fjellgard: An open-air museum showing what the farms looked like in the 18th and 19th centuries in Øvre Hallingdal. Route 331* to Dokken.
Hol Gamle Kyrkje: A church from the 13th century, the oldest in Hol municipality. Route 331 to Hol sentrum.
Dagali Museum: The museum is built as an old farm with farm buildings from Dagali, mostly from the 18th and 19th centuries. Route 333* to Dagali skole or route 420 to Dagali.
