Even cheaper season tickets starting 1 October!

From 1 October, we are cutting prices even further on 30-day season tickets. You can save up to NOK 280 every month, and the youth ticket will cost just NOK 250. You can find all the new prices here.

This is the second time this year that season ticket prices have been reduced. Prices on all season tickets were lowered back in March, and with this price cut starting 1 October, choosing the bus for your daily travel becomes even easier.

Single ticket prices remain unchanged and are not affected by this price adjustment. This time, the discount applies exclusively to 30-day season tickets. This is a temporary offer that we hope will encourage even more people to ride the bus. You can read more about the background for the price reduction here.

You do not get a refund for season tickets purchased before 1 October as a result of the price reduction. There will be no changes to the 30-day season ticket for bus/train (combination ticket).

When is a season ticket worth it?

If you travel round trip 6 days or more in Zone 1 during a 30-day period, you will save money by buying a season ticket.

365-day tickets are no longer worth it

Because the 30-day ticket has become so much cheaper, it will pay off to buy multiple 30-day tickets instead of a single 365-day ticket. The price subsidy we received applies only to 30-day season tickets. In addition, the subsidy we received in March has expired, meaning 365-day tickets have returned to their regular price.

New prices

Background for the price reduction

The price change takes effect from 1 October 2026 and is financed by government grant funds allocated to county councils following the government's expanded grant scheme in the revised national budget. The goal is to make public transport more attractive and get more people to choose eco-friendly travel.

The price reduction is temporary

The reduced prices apply for as long as funds remain in the government grant scheme. Because of this, we cannot say in advance exactly how long the price reduction will last. The extra subsidy is initially valid until the end of April next year and will be evaluated after that. We will keep you informed if there are any changes to the prices.
